The project is a collaborative effort, funded by the Alberta Professional Outfitters Society (APOS) and the Alberta Conservation Association (ACA). It is supported in-kind by the Government of Alberta (GoA) and sponsored by Grand Slam Club/Ovis - Canada. The project is overseen by the Mule Deer Collaring Project Steering Committee, which is supported by a Technical Committee, comprising scientific experts from government and stakeholder partners, leading academic institutions, and one of the Utah project's scientific leads.
